A Walk in the Park
Fundraising Event Benefiting Students with Dyslexia
‘A Walk in the Park’ will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at beautiful Marylhurst University in Marylhurst, Oregon. This event includes a 5K walk and a 1 mile wheelchair/stroller accessible walk. Registration begins at 9am at Park Academy on the lower campus. The Walk begins at 10am.

Children who learn differently because of dyslexia and other language based learning challenges often believe they are unable to learn and feel that school is an unbearable challenge. At Park Academy students receive the specialized instruction they need to excel academically and become responsible citizens and community leaders. |
